Day 1: Arrival at Jabalpur/Nagpur – Drive to Pench


Arrival at Jabalpur or Nagpur:

You will arrive either at Nagpur Airport (90 km from Pench) or Jabalpur Railway Station (190 km from Pench).

  • Option 1 (from Nagpur): If arriving at Nagpur, take a 2-3 hour drive to Pench National Park (approx. 90 km).
  • Option 2 (from Jabalpur): If arriving at Jabalpur, take a 4-5 hour drive to Pench (approx. 190 km).

 

Check-in at your Resort in Pench:

Lunch and Relaxation:

After your journey, relax at the resort, have lunch, and unwind before the safari.


Evening Safari:

  • Depending on your arrival time and safari availability, head out for an evening safari (timing may vary according to the season). Pench is home to a significant tiger population, along with other wildlife such as wild boar, Indian bison, and leopards.

 

Overnight at Resort in Pench:

  • After the safari, return to your resort for dinner and overnight stay.


Day 2: Pench National Park – Morning and Evening Safaris

Early Morning Safari in Pench:

  • Wake up early for a morning safari (usually from 6 AM to 9 AM). Pench is known for its scenic beauty, and the chances of spotting tigers, sloth bears, and various deer species are good.

Return to Resort for Breakfast:

  • After the safari, enjoy a hearty breakfast at your resort.

Relax and Explore:

  • After breakfast, you can relax at the resort or opt for activities like a nature walk or village visit to learn about the local culture.

Lunch at Resort:

  • Return to your resort for a delicious lunch.

Evening Safari in Pench:

  • Another safari session in the park, this time during the evening (typically from 3 PM to 6 PM). You’ll have a chance to spot wildlife in the cooler evening hours.

Overnight Stay in Pench:

  • After your safari, head back to your resort for dinner and overnight stay.

Day 3: Pench to Kanha National Park

Check-out from Resort and Drive to Kanha:

  • After breakfast, check-out from your resort and start your drive to Kanha National Park (approx. 4-5 hours drive, 200-230 km).

Check-in at your Kanha Resort:

  • Arrive in Kanha and check-in at a resort.
  • Relax at the resort before lunch.

Lunch and Rest:

  • After check-in and lunch, take a short rest to recharge.

Evening Safari in Kanha:

  • Head out for a late afternoon safari (3:00 PM to 6:00 PM). Kanha is one of the most famous tiger reserves in India and offers a great chance to spot tigers, leopards, barasingha (swamp deer), and other wildlife in its scenic grasslands and dense forests.

Overnight Stay in Kanha:

  • Return to your resort after the safari for a relaxed evening and overnight stay.

Day 4: Kanha National Park – Full Day of Safaris

Early Morning Safari in Kanha:

  • Enjoy an early morning safari (6:00 AM to 9:00 AM). Kanha's well-maintained trails and diverse landscape offer excellent opportunities to spot wildlife like tigers, wild dogs, and a variety of birds.

Breakfast at the Resort:

  • After the safari, return to the resort for breakfast.

Relax or Nature Walk:

  • After breakfast, relax or participate in a nature walk led by a guide to explore the local flora and fauna.

Lunch at the Resort:

  • Enjoy lunch at the resort, then take a break.

Evening Safari in Kanha:

  • Go for another evening safari (3:00 PM to 6:00 PM). This time, you'll get a chance to witness the changing colors of the landscape as the sun sets over the park, and spot more wildlife.

Overnight Stay in Kanha:

  • Return to the resort for the evening, relax, and stay overnight.

Day 5: Kanha to Bandhavgarh National Park

Check-out from Resort and Drive to Bandhavgarh:

  • After breakfast, check-out and drive to Bandhavgarh National Park (approx. 4-5 hours drive, 230-250 km).

Check-in at Bandhavgarh Resort:

  • Upon arrival at Bandhavgarh, check-in at a resort.

Lunch and Relaxation:

  • After check-in, enjoy lunch and relax at the resort.

Evening Safari in Bandhavgarh:

  • Head out for your first safari in Bandhavgarh (3:00 PM to 6:00 PM). Bandhavgarh is known for having one of the highest densities of tigers in India, and you can also spot other animals like leopards, wild boars, and various species of deer.

Overnight Stay in Bandhavgarh:

  • Return to your resort after the safari, have dinner, and stay overnight.

Day 6: Bandhavgarh to Panna National Park


Morning Safari in Bandhavgarh:

  • Start the day with an early morning safari (6:00 AM to 9:00 AM). Bandhavgarh is rich in wildlife, and you’ll have another opportunity to spot tigers and other animals.

Breakfast and Check-out:

  • After the safari, return to your resort for breakfast, then check out.

Drive to Panna National Park:

  • Drive from Bandhavgarh to Panna National Park (approx. 4-5 hours by road, 180-200 km).

Check-in at Resort in Panna:

  • Upon arrival, check-in at a resort like Panna Tiger Reserve Resort or Ken River Lodge.

Lunch and Rest:

  • After checking in, enjoy lunch and relax at the resort.

Evening Safari in Panna:

  • Head out for an evening safari (3:00 PM to 6:00 PM). Panna is known for its tiger sightings, along with crocodiles, leopards, and a rich variety of bird species.

Overnight Stay in Panna:

  • Return to your resort for the evening and overnight stay.

 

Day 7: Departure from Panna – Drop at Khajuraho or Jabalpur


Morning Safari in Panna:

  • Start your day with a final safari in Panna (6:00 AM to 9:00 AM). The safari will give you one last chance to spot tigers, crocodiles, and other wildlife in the park.

Breakfast and Check-out:

  • After the safari, return to the resort for breakfast and check out.

Drive to Khajuraho or Jabalpur:

  • (Drop at Khajuraho): If your departure is from Khajuraho, it’s about a 30-45 minute drive (30 km) from Panna. Khajuraho has an airport with flights connecting to major cities.
  • (Drop at Jabalpur): If you're returning to Jabalpur, the drive is about 4-5 hours (approx. 180 km).

Departure:

  • After arrival at Khajuraho or Jabalpur, you can catch your flight or train for onward travel.
