Day 1: Arrival at Jabalpur and Transfer to Bandhavgarh

Morning:

  • Arrive at Jabalpur by train/flight.
  • Meet our representative at Jabalpur Railway Station or Airport.
  • Transfer to Bandhavgarh National Park (approximately 4-5 hours drive, 165 km).
  • Check-in to your hotel/resort in Bandhavgarh.
  • Afternoon/Evening:
  • Relax at the resort.
  • Explore the resort surroundings.
  • Overnight stay at Bandhavgarh.

Day 2: Bandhavgarh National Park - Jungle Safari


Early Morning:

After breakfast, embark on a morning safari to explore the core area of Bandhavgarh National Park.
Bandhavgarh is famous for its dense population of Bengal tigers, along with a rich variety of wildlife such as leopards, spotted deer, sambhar, wild boar, and a variety of birds.


Mid-morning:
Return to the resort for breakfast and rest.


Afternoon

After lunch, go for an afternoon safari in a different zone of the park, or visit the Bandhavgarh Fort, which is located within the park and offers panoramic views.
 You may also explore the Bamera and Tala zones for tiger sightings and birdwatching.


Evening:

  • Return to the resort.
  • Enjoy the evening leisure activities at the resort (cultural performances, local cuisine, etc.).
  • Overnight stay at Bandhavgarh.

Day 3: Bandhavgarh to Kanha National Park


Morning:

  • After breakfast, check-out from the resort and proceed to Kanha National Park (approximately 6-7 hours drive, 250 km).
  • En route, you can take short stops for tea and refreshments.

Afternoon:

  • Arrive at Kanha and check-in to your hotel/resort.
  • Relax and refresh after the long journey.

Evening:

  • Evening at leisure. Enjoy the amenities at the resort.
  • Dinner and overnight stay at Kanha.


Day 4: Kanha National Park - Jungle Safari

Early Morning:

 

  • After breakfast, embark on an early morning safari in the Kanha National Park.
  • Kanha is renowned for its conservation efforts and for being the inspiration behind Rudyard Kipling’s “The Jungle Book.”
  • Look out for tigers, leopards, wild dogs, Indian bison, deer (sambar and chital), and the rare barasingha.

Mid-morning:

  • Return to the resort for breakfast and rest.

Afternoon:

  • Post-lunch, head out for an afternoon safari in a different zone of Kanha (Mukki or Kisli Zone).
  • Explore the lush landscapes, including grasslands, sal forests, and mixed deciduous forests.

Evening:

  • Return to the resort for a relaxed evening.
  • Overnight stay at Kanha.


Day 5: Kanha to Jabalpur - Sightseeing and Departure

Morning:

  • After breakfast, check-out from the resort and drive back to Jabalpur (approximately 3-4 hours drive, 165 km).

Afternoon:

  • On reaching Jabalpur, you can enjoy a few local sightseeing spots like:
  • Bhedaghat: Famous for its marble rocks and Dhuandhar Waterfall. You can enjoy a boat ride along the Narmada River.
  • Rani Durgavati Mahal and Balancing Rocks.
  • Kachnar City Shiva Temple: Known for its huge statue of Lord Shiva.

Evening:

  • After sightseeing, transfer to Jabalpur Railway Station or Airport for your onward journey.
